The Wedding Dress

Picture

Here's a photo of the gown I selected, by Private Label by G. Only ONE store carried this dress, and after shopping at 8+ bridal stores I came back to this one and tried it one last time. I took this picture the second time when I decide that this dress was it for me and had everything I wanted in a wedding gown. I ended up ordering it from another store closer to me at literally 50% of the price compared to the location I originally tried it on. This is why you got to price shop people! Just because a store doesn't carry it in stock, doesn't mean they cannot order it for you.

Dress Rehearsal/Rehearsal Dinner Dress

I stumbled across this dress at Macy's. I was trying on different dresses and I happened to find this in one of the dressing rooms! I fell in love with it instantly, and luckily it was the right size because it was the last one in the store. I wore it with a short-sleeved white cardigan sweater. Kohl's had carried it in green too and I ordered that as well for someone else's wedding that happened to have a green theme.

Bridesmaids Dresses

After much searching with my bridesmaids, this was the style that flattered them all the most. This is Alfred Angelo Bridesmaids Style 7002. AA was really the only company that had a blue tone I liked... well, there was the perfect blue that Bill Levkoff carried, but no styles that we liked. This photo doesn't do the dress justice. The only thing about this dress was the way it was designed in the tummy area is that it created a slight poof, but barely noticeable.

Groomsmen Tuxes

Since the color of the cobalt blue of the bridesmaids dresses was difficult to match, we came across this cornflower blue, which we accented with a paisley tie. I believe the tux rented was a Calvin Klein

Oof, was this a whole time-consuming ordeal. This is not the exact color of their dresses, but VERY close. The style is Alfred Angelo 6520. The shade they had for the wedding was cobalt, what is shown here is teal. Lets just say that Alfred Angelo customer service is incapable of giving accurate answers. Their website shows this dress with a light pink layer of organza, and we were told MULTIPLE times that the style can come with just all ivory organza layers in the skirt, with a colored sash. When we were about to order it at a shop, they told us that this was not the case with Alfred Angelo. We continued to get different responses and answers each time we contacted AA. After some searching, I confirmed the true answer coming across this photo of the dress and yes, that middle skirt layer is colored. I realized that I in fact liked this look of the colored skirt and we decided to order this style. I absolutely loved how they turned out and the girls looked adorable!
